Natixis Partners Iberia advised Cinven Fund V on the sale of the fibre optic operator UFINET for a total consideration of c.€2bn. Ufinet Spain were acquired by Antin Infrastructure Partners and the international operations of UFINET were bought by Cinven Fund VI.
Through the reinvestment in UFINET’s international operations, Cinven aims to continue to support the UFINET International in capturing significant market opportunities. On the other hand, Antin Infrastructure Partners will support UFINET Spain’s management team to continue supporting its role as a key telecom infrastructure operator in the country.
