Natixis Partners Iberia issued a fairness opinion to the Board of Directors of Grupo Hospiten’s shareholder REA on MD Anderson Cancer Center, the only private hospital exclusively dedicated to cancer treatment in Spain and an affiliate of MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Grupo Hospiten is an international healthcare network that counts on sixteen private medical-hospital centers in Spain, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica, in addition to over a hundred private and associated outpatient health centers under the brand name Clinic Assist. Cartera Industrial REA (REA) is an investor in the Spanish market.
Grupo Hospiten, finally acquired a 40% interest in MD Anderson to increase its ownership almost to a 100%.
